Job Title: Cleaner – Medical Centre (Telford)
Location: Telford
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm – 8:00pm
Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role:
Our client, a respected commercial cleaning contractor, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team at a busy medical centre in Telford.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise waiting areas, reception, toilets, and medical rooms.
Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and hygienically.
Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, etc.).
Complete cleaning schedules and checklists accurately.
Report any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience (experience in a medical or healthcare setting desirable).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Understanding of confidentiality and infection control standards.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
